A host of star names attended Lionel Messi's hometown inn Rosario Argentina, for his wedding to his childhood sweetheart, Antonella Roccuzzo. However, while team-mates Luis Suarez, Neymar and Gerard Pique were among the 260 guests in attendance at the intimate ceremony, there was no invite for former bosses Pep Guardiola, most of the Argentina squad or legend Diego Maradona. According to Argentine newspaper La Nacion, Messi, invited only four of his international team-mates - Sergio Aguero, Javier Mascherano, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Angel Di Maria. Troops of 146 Battalion, 16 Brigade Nigerian Army while on routine patrol on Wednesday along Sucrucho-Kalarogbana Fishing Ports general area, discovered and destroyed a reactivated illegal oil dump.  Items recovered include 1 Cooking pot, 2 Storage tanks (iron and plastic) loaded with suspected stolen crude oil, 1 Cylinder, and a pumping machine. In a related development, on the same day, troops stationed at Forward Operation Base Ahoada, while on routine patrol around Ogbogu general area arrested a suspected cultist.  Items recovered from the suspect include local charms and substances suspected to be marijuana. 6-yr-old boy dies, as flood sacks ex-milad’s wife, others in Aba     ABA— A six-year-old boy has been reportedly killed while three others were rescued as flood swept through Garden Avenue, Nwankpa, and adjoining streets along Okigwe Road area of Aba, Abia State due to heavy rain in the area. Vanguard also gathered that no fewer than 20 families, including the widow of former military administrator of Cross River State, Navy Captain Edet Archibong, Rosemary, were sacked by flood. Two escaped Chibok schoolgirls meet President Donald Trump and Ivanka Trump at the White House Joy Bishara , 20, and Lydia Pogu , 19, two of the Chibok schoolgirls who were able to escape from Boko Haram in 2014, met with US President Donald Trump at the White House Wednesday, June 28. The duo and several other girls who escaped moved to the United States to complete school. With the help of a Christian nonprofit, others, they were able to attend boarding school in Virginia. Bishara and Pogu transferred their senior year and recently graduated from Canyonville Christian Academy. They will be attending Southeastern University in Florida in the fall.

LASU Lecturer's wife delivers baby for a bricklayer

The wife of a Lagos State University (LASU) lecturer, Mrs Kafayat Oyekunle, who revealed that she was pregnant for her bricklayer lover, Fatai Alimi has given birth to a baby girl for her lover. P.M.EXPRESS reports that she was also living with Alimi as his wife in their one room apartment in Igando area of Lagos despite the comfort of the home of her embattled husband. This was confirmed by Kafayat who said that her embattled husband has left them alone after he discovered that she was pregnant for her lover. Fatai Alimi was arraigned in court for allegedly snatching her from her husband, Suraju Oyekunle in Lagos, Nigeria. The 36-year-old woman made the revelation when she went to the court to bail Alimi from custody and met her embattled husband there. N-power: FG Explains Reasons For Delay In Payment Of Some Volunteers  The federal government has absolved itself and the various state governments, particularly the coordinators of its youth employment scheme, N-Power, of responsibilities over the non payments of some of the volunteers of the programme in the state. Making the clarifications at the weekend, a Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation, Mr. Afolabi Imoukhuede, said that the few persons who were yet to be paid were still having issues bothering particularly on irregularities in their bank details, especially the Bank Verification Number (BVN). The presidential aide, particularly noted that in Delta state, out of the 7,149 volunteers who were engaged in the programme, 5,916 were being paid as at May, this year, adding that 857 others were just cleared and paid last week.
